6th Street Playhouse
As the only theatre space designed by theatre artists for theatre in Sonoma County, the 6th Street Playhouse is the North Bay’s pre-eminent live theatre company, in a flagship theatre facility, producing a year-round season of professional quality dramas, comedies, new works, and musicals, as well as a year-round School of Drama for young people and adults. The theatre also runs a fine arts gallery in partnership with the Windsor Arts Council. As the most award-winning theatre company in the North Bay Area, the Playhouse reaches over 30,000 patrons, residents and visitors, with over 200 performances annually. Its School of Drama provides a year-round program of high quality, affordable theatre classes and on-stage performance experiences for children, youth and adults.
