Amtrak
In Northern California and the Bay Area, Amtrak trains travel to Martinez, with connecting buses to Santa Rosa. The route has an extensive network of dedicated Amtrak Thruway Motorcoach buses that are critical to the performance of the service. Buses are timed to meet trains and offer connections to points in Southern California (including Los Angeles Union Station where passengers can continue their journey on the Pacific Surfliner or Amtrak's long-distance trains), the city of San Francisco, the Central Coast, the North Coast, the High Desert (including Las Vegas), Redding, Reno, and the Yosemite Valley.
Santa Rosa passengers wishing to use Amtrak service can board Thruway Motorcoach buses at the curbside bus stop located at 917 Edwards Avenue, Santa Rosa CA, 95401, next to Dick’s Sporting Goods near the Coddingtown Mall complex. For reservations call 1-800-USA-RAIL or go to Amtrak San Joaquins Website.
